Trevor Wilson, a singer-songwriter from Jackson, Tennessee, grew up with music stitched into every corner of his life. Born in Memphis, Tennessee in August 2002, he was raised between two very different church traditions. He led hymns at his mother’s Church of Christ, while also harmonizing with his father’s family in a southern gospel–rooted congregation that mixed Assembly of God, Southern Baptist, and Pentecostal influences. Combined with his grandmother’s love of 50s and 60s blues, his mom’s taste for classic rock and old-school country, and his dad’s gospel roots, Trevor tasted a wide-reaching musical palette growing up that continues to shape his artistry today.
